“I sincerely appreciate the work that Representative Stevens has done”
Mr. Mike Madigan, of Troy, was having trouble getting an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) processed as his small business faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
My office was able to help Mr. Madigan’s business secure the loan from the Small Business Administration.
“I contacted Representative Stevens’ office because we had applied with the Small Business Administration (SBA) for consideration for an EIDL business loan related to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Mr. Madigan. “We had received loan approval but our paperwork to sign was held up in process and no one could seem to be able to get it over to my business partner to complete, and we were worried that we were going to miss the window for approval. Representative Stevens’ office responded to our request for help right away and was able to contact and follow up with the SBA office, so that our approved paperwork came through for signature. It makes the total difference in our business ability to function and move forward through these challenging times. I sincerely appreciate the work that Representative Stevens has done during this time in putting her constituents first and always keeping them in mind with assistance and legislative measures.”
