"Congresswoman Stevens’ office made all this happen for my parents."

Joan Bennett, Rochester Hills, sought out help from my office to get permission to have her father, WWII veteran, and mother buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. We were so grateful to serve those who served.

“After finally getting possession of my father’s ashes – thirty years after passing away – the Office of Congresswoman Stevens helped me get the permission to have both my father and mother placed at the Great Lakes National Cemetery – a great honor for my dad, a WWII veteran. I had no paperwork during this pandemic, it seems I couldn’t get anything done. However, Congresswoman Stevens’ office made all this happen for my parents. I and all my family are so grateful for all their help.”
