For this weeks Manufacturing Monday, I visited Meier Screw Products, a short run precision machine shop in Ferndale. It is such an honor to visit the small to midsize manufacturers that provide value to our daily lives and economy!
For today’s #ManufacturingMonday visit, I attended FORVIA’s Innovation Days event to experience their next generation technologies in hydrogen & sustainability and learn how they are paving the way for a clean mobility future!
For this week’s #ManufacturingMonday, I visited Samsung SDI America in Auburn Hills to see how they are building batteries that will power the EVs of today and the future from a place called home.
Yesterday, I visited Humanetics in Farmington Hills to learn about the important safety work they do to build and test crash test dummies that help keep you safe in and around vehicles! #ManufacturingFriday
It was so great to visit @huntsman_corp #Polyurethanes in Auburn Hills to learn more about the versatility and innovations of their products along with their dedication to a sustainable future!
For today’s #ManufacturingMonday, I visited Equitable Engineering in Troy to learn more about their incredible work making gears, splines, and curvic couplings used in the aerospace industry including some on the International Space Station! #MI11
An incredible Manufacturing Monday visit to Lonero Engineering in Troy as they celebrate 71 years as a tool and dye manufacturer!! Not only do they have several patents, they also sell all over the world! Impressed and invigorated from today’s visit and can’t wait to take back what I learned to Congress.

It’s #ManufacturingMonday! Today, I visited SABIC in Wixom to learn more about their work & efforts to lightweight vehicles. I also got to see an exciting demonstration of the capacity of their material to withstand extreme temperatures, thus improving the safety of electric vehicles in emergency cases.
For this week’s #ManufacturingMonday, I visited Waymo in Novi to experience and learn more about their autonomous vehicle technology. We discussed how autonomous vehicles can move people and goods safely and effectively. Thanks, @Waymo!
