“I can’t thank them enough for what they did for me.”
Ms. Nancy Morey, of Waterford, was not receiving her widow’s benefits from the Social Security Administration that she and her son were eligible for, even after a year of trying to get her claim processed.
My office was able to help get Nancy Morey her Social Security benefits within a week.
“When my ex-husband passed away, I called Social Security to make sure they had gotten his death certificate,” said Nancy Morey. “They told me they had gotten it and that myself and our handicapped son were eligible to receive the divorced widow benefit. I was told that it would take a couple of weeks to start. I waited every month, only to be told it was still in processing but no one knew why it was taking so long. After a very frustrating year of phone calls and a visit to the local Social Security office I decided to contact Congresswoman Haley Stevens’ office and was pleasantly surprised to get a response within two days of my initial email. Within one week, they were able to get results that no one else has been able to do in the past year. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for me. If anyone is having any kind of problem don’t hesitate to contact them for results!!!!!”
