“We are extremely thankful for the timely help.”

Mr. Ganesh Hariharan, of Troy, was having trouble obtaining a work authorization from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

My office was able to help Mr. Hariharan expedite his work authorization, allowing him and his family to stay in the country.

“Our family was under extreme emotional stress related to pressure to leave the country due to our work authorization status when we approached the honorable Congresswoman’s office for help,” said Mr. Hariharan. “The office helped us expedite the work authorization with the USCIS offices. Normal procedural times would have meant we would have had to leave the country with our little kids on short notice. The office was very helpful. They knew exactly what needed to be done, collected the supporting artifacts from us, sent them out the same evening, and made sure the case was brought to USCIS with extreme urgency. The office also made it a point to regularly follow up on the case and provide updates to keep us informed on the progress. We are extremely thankful for the timely help.”
