Rep. Haley Stevens to call for RFK Jr.'s impeachment
Ten days after calling for U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to resign — and just days after he and President Donald Trump touted an unproven link between Tylenol and autism in children — U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Birmingham, says she's drafting articles of impeachment against Kennedy.
"We need leaders who put science over chaos, facts over lies and people over politics, which is why I am announcing today that I have begun drafting articles of impeachment against Secretary Kennedy," Stevens said on Sept. 25.
"RFK Jr. is making our country less safe and making healthcare less affordable and accessible for Michiganders," Stevens said.
"His contempt for science, the constant spreading of conspiracy theories and his complete disregard for the thousands of research hours spent by America’s top doctors and experts is unprecedented, reckless and dangerous."
