STEVENS INTRODUCES 'NO TARIFFS ON GROCERIES ACT'

Michigan congresswoman Haley Stevens hopes a proposed bill will reduce the cost of groceries nationwide.

Stevens introduced her No Tariffs on Groceries Act… The bill would require congressional approval before a president could impose tariffs on food products.

Stevens believes the current administration's tariff policies are driving up prices at grocery stores and making it more expensive to buy food.

"I'm working as hard as I can to get this legislation heard and passed, and I'm not going to stop talking about it until it happens."
