April 15: FANUC/Pratt & Miller

For the first Manufacturing Monday of April's District Work period, I toured two manufacturing businesses in Michigan's 11th District.

First, I took a tour of FANUC in Rochester Hills! It was exciting to learn more about this robotics company making huge innovations for advanced manufacturing. They are the inventors of the world's largest manufacturing robot, which I got to see in action!

Afterwards, I visited Pratt & Miller, a company well known for their work in professional motorsports. I learned how they solve complex tech challenges for the automotive & defense industries. Companies like Pratt & Miller epitomize the creativity of MI-11 and our history of automotive & defense manufacturing!
