MI Congresswoman Haley Stevens Stands with Michigan’s Veterans
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, in honor of Veterans Day, Michigan Congresswoman Haley Stevens recognized the service and sacrifice of Michigan’s veterans:
“Today, we honor the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform and defended our freedoms with courage and sacrifice, including the more than 440,000 veterans who call Michigan home.
“I’m proud to stand with those who’ve served by fighting for real results: expanding care through the PACT Act and helping veterans live safely at home through my Home Accessibility Tax Credit Act. I am also proud to recognize the legacy of Major General Oliver W. Dillard – the first Black officer to graduate from the National War College – by renaming the Canton, MI V.A. Outpatient Clinic in his memory.
“I’ll never stop fighting to make sure our veterans get the care, dignity, and opportunity they’ve earned.”
