Rep. Stevens to Host Education Town Hall at Schoolcraft College

LIVONIA, MI – On Thursday, April 18th, Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) will host a town hall meeting focused on education at Schoolcraft College in Livonia. Congresswoman Stevens will be joined by a diverse group of local education stakeholders including teachers, the President of the Michigan State Board of Education, the President of Schoolcraft College, the Superintendent of Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, and a representative from the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights. The event is free and open to the public.

Thursday’s town hall will be Congresswoman Stevens’ fourth major town hall event since taking office on January 3rd.

Congresswoman Stevens is a member of the House Committee on Education & Labor. Last week, the Congresswoman questioned Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos in a committee hearing.
