Rep. Stevens to preside over House floor debate this evening

WASHINGTON – At approximately 7:30pm this evening, U.S. Representative Haley Stevens of Michigan's 11th Congressional District will preside over the floor of the House of Representatives. Representative Stevens is the first freshman Member of the 116th Congress to be the presiding officer. 

"I'm thrilled to have been asked to preside over the floor debate this evening," said Representative Stevens. "I hope people in Michigan's 11th District tune in to watch their representative, and government, in action."
