“I submitted a benefits claim to the VA on behalf of my father, a very proud Korean War veteran, in December 2022. My dad passed away in April. I then submitted a claim on behalf of my mother. Months went by, still no response. My mother was running out of money. In desperation, I contacted Haley Stevens’ office. Within a day, her office responded to me with the promise they would do what they could. Well, let me tell you! They certainly delivered on their promise. Within a week, the VA sent me requests for what they needed and my mom got approved. Her office was awesome. I cried when the Representative called me with the good news. Thank you!”

“I lost my Medicare due to an error. I had tried to get it back by interacting with Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Social Security, and my retirement agency for a month, with no resolution. I have many health concerns and not having insurance was terrifying. I contacted the office of Congresswoman Haley Stevens and they were exemplary advocates. They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and kind. What I could not accomplish in over a month, her office accomplished in less than a week. I have now gotten my Medicare back and I am no longer experiencing sleepless nights. So thankful!”

“With the delays of the USCIS processes that have occurred, my mother had a significant delay on her Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card which impacted her from working, driving and more. When we reached out to Haley Stevens, the immediate action that occurred with frequent updates throughout the process was shown! Their intervention solved some of our crucial problems faster resulting in receiving the EAD in under 30 days. It also further solidified my trust as a U.S. citizen in Haley Stevens. Their advocacy and prompt action on this matter show how important it is to serve your constituents’ and residents' needs.”

"After three months of daily emailing and calling Medicare and Social Security to correct the start date of my Medicare Part B, I was ready to give up. I contacted Haley Stevens’ office in hopes that she could help me. I cannot put into words the relief and happiness I felt when I received the call that she had been able to cut through the red tape and successfully accomplish what I could not. Without her stepping in to help me, I would be responsible for $5,500 in medical bills. I cannot express my gratitude I feel for receiving her help.”

“I am immensely grateful to Congresswoman Haley Stevens' office and her team for their invaluable assistance. As a teacher tasked with a trip for my students overseas, I encountered a significant hurdle when my passport renewal was delayed. I was advised to reach out to Congresswoman Stevens' office for help. To my astonishment, not only did they ensure the timely delivery of my passport, but they also provided personalized attention throughout the process. They personally reached out to me and promptly responded, offering support during a moment of desperation when hope seemed dim. Their exceptional service and individualized care surpassed my expectations, a rarity in today's world. My school and I are profoundly thankful for their remarkable efforts. Congresswoman Stevens has earned my utmost respect and I will forever appreciate their role in facilitating this unforgettable experience.”

“Two years after my husband's passing, Social Security still had not started paying me survivor benefits. Visits to Social Security provided no answers or progress. The financial stress was something I did not need while coping with the sudden loss of my husband of almost 50 years. I decided to reach out to Congresswoman Stevens. Within the hour of submitting an email to her office, a response was received. They kept me informed as efforts were made to figure out the reason for the hold-up on my payments. At last, I received an email letting me know my back payments were on the way. I am confident I would still be waiting and stressing about my finances were it not for the assistance of Congresswoman Stevens' office.”
- Sheila Lipschutz, West Bloomfield
“Congresswoman Stevens and her staff helped address clerical errors made by my student loan servicer in my pursuit of Public Service Loan Forgiveness. After failing to correct errors in counting my payments made toward loan forgiveness, Congresswoman Stevens brought the issue directly to the attention of the Department of Education. Her staff maintained communication with me and let me know that [an inquiry] had been sent on my behalf and my case was given the attention it deserved. My loan count was corrected and I earned my loan forgiveness, a process that could have dragged on for many months. Thanks to Congresswoman Stevens, my case was freed from bureaucratic entanglement.”
