WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) joined Detroit Regional Chamber President and CEO Sandy Baruah for a telephone town hall as part of an ongoing series organized by the business group.
During the 30-minute call, Congresswoman Stevens discussed the federal response to the COVID-19 crisis, the resources available to businesses in southeast Michigan, and the upcoming implementation of the USMCA trade agreement, among other topics.

On Sunday evening, Congresswoman Stevens hosted a telephone town hall to answer COVID-19 questions from constituents. More than 5,000 people participated in the call, which also featured Michigan Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II, Director for the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity Jeff Donofrio, and Beaumont Health Medical Director of Community Health Dr. Asha Shajahan.
Congresswoman Stevens has also compiled a resource guide for businesses in Michigan’s 11th District as they navigate this unprecedented crisis.
