WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S. Department of Defense must adopt a more constructive attitude toward cleaning up toxic “forever chemical” pollution, say members of a bipartisan caucus in Congress that’s pushing the new administration to move swiftly on regulations that would curb exposure to PFAS chemicals in the environment.
Most House Republicans were silent on Wednesday after CNN’s KFile reported that Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene repeatedly indicated support for executing prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 before being elected to Congress.

Stevens, in a statement issued to MLive, said a violent protest aimed at preventing the certification of the Electoral College vote represents “one of the darkest chapters in our nation’s history.”
Stevens then presented the board with a Congressional Flag, which had been flown over the U.S. Capitol. “I flew this flag in honor of White Lake,” she said. “Normally this presentation would more ceremonial, but it is still a recognition to the board’s leadership, which takes the needs of the community very seriously, are fiscally responsible, and are growing as a result. It’s absolutely magnificent.”

Michael Kelly has finally been formally recognized for his sacrifice during the conflict, 45 years after the Vietnam War ended.
Congresswoman Haley Stevens (D-MI-11) held a virtual ceremony for Kelly, a Northville resident, last week to present him with a commemorative lapel pin acknowledging his service.
Kelly served as a sergeant for two years in the United States Army. His father and father-in-law were both veterans, as well.
