For today’s Manufacturing Monday I visited PHINIA in Troy! It was an honor to speak with the employees and learn more about their work as they remanufacture a variety of automotive and equipment components. Their efforts help reduce waste and contribute to a circular economy.
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with Brass Aluminum Forging. It’s great to have such a prominent forging facility in our district. Their tool and die casting work is critical to our defense and aerospace industries - they truly are casting the future right here in MI!
Today's Manufacturing Monday, I visited Cummins-Meritor in Troy! We discussed how we can ensure the U.S. is innovating & staying competitive on the world stage. I saw their work firsthand & rode their electric school bus, demonstrating their commitment to zero-emission solutions.
Today’s Manufacturing Monday took me to the world headquarters of Navistar Defense in Madison Heights. These folks are leaders in developing vehicles that protect our armed forces alongside supporting Ukrainians in their fight for freedom and democracy.
Today’s Manufacturing Monday brought me to Williams International in Pontiac. They’re industry leaders in aerospace - championing the development and assembly of jet engines for both defense and commercial purposes. So rewarding to see their efforts and workforce in action!
It was fantastic to visit Bosch’s North America Headquarters in Farmington Hills for today’s Manufacturing Monday! We discussed their software focused registered apprenticeship program and their work and research into hydrogen and its applications.
