WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) voted to extend the ratification deadline for the Equal Rights Amendment to enshrine equality of rights for women in the United States Constitution. The House also voted to reauthorize the bipartisan Violence Against Women Act.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) voted to pass essential gun violence prevention legislation. She voted in support of the Bipartisan Background Checks Act (H.R. 8), and the Enhanced Background Checks Act (H.R. 1446). These bills work to close gun purchasing loopholes by mandating background checks on all gun sales.
