Today I visited UBCR in Wixom, a key player in the MI beverage container deposit system, for #ManufacturingMonday. They use their innovative technology to collect, transport, process, and recycle empty beverage containers with a recovery rate of 89%, highest in the nation!
Last week I had the opportunity to sit down with leadership at Pace Industries for #ManufacturingMonday!
We discussed their major projects, legislative priorities, electrification in automotive, and the semiconductor shortage.
I also toured their new facilities and headquarters, which recently relocated to #MI11. Thanks for having me!

News of Carl Levin’s death spread fast across Michigan with friends, colleagues, and even some political foes paying their respects to one of Michigan’s iconic public servants.
On Thursday, Levin, a Detroit native and Michigan’s longest-serving U.S. senator, died following a four-year battle with lung cancer that he made public in March. He was 87 years old.
