The hearing, called “Closing the Loop: Emerging Technologies in Plastics Recycling,” examined emerging recycling technologies and the technology gaps that prevent more of our plastics from being recycled. Today’s hearing was the first Science Committee hearing about recycling in a decade.

LIVONIA, Mich. – On Tuesday, April 23rd, Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) held a roundtable discussion about democracy and voting rights with Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Voters Not Politicians Executive Director Nancy Wang, and ACLU of Michigan Voting Rights Strategist Sharon Dolente. A group of AP Government students from Farmington Public Schools attended the roundtable and participated in the discussion.
